3. The next step has three variations. How you do it will be up to your preference since all three are equally effective. The options are as follows:
1. Pour the boiling water into the teapot where you placed the ginger slices in. You may choose to cover the teapot. This prevents it from cooling to quickly and keeps the aroma inside. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
2. If you used a saucepan for boiling the water, then it is best if you put the ginger slices directly in it. Let the ginger simmer on the saucepan for 15-20 minutes. Let it sit before after it simmers before pouring; five minutes would be enough.
3. A tea ball can also be used in preparing the organic ginger tea. Let the sliced ginger steep in a cup for 15 minutes. It is advised that you cover the top to make sure that its aroma do not escape and remains in the concoction.
4. Strain the tea. Add flavors according to your preference.
5. Preparation for the green tea should be in another pot
6. Pour in both teas into a teapot. This may be able to serve as much as two cups.
Again, it is best to remind you that step number three is according to your preference. No one bests the other. All three are capable of creating the best ginger tea for your enjoyment and for medical purposes.
