The cooking process can turn food into brown colour but this feature is not available in a standard microwave oven. Broiling is allowed in the convection micro oven but standard microwave oven does not have that feature.
Convection micro oven has more than 60 auto menus for cooking whereas a standard grill microwave oven model can accommodate hardly 44 auto menus.

Convection ovens are high on price but these ovens offer the combined effect of a microwave oven and a convection oven.
